X-plore lets you see inside your Android device. And also outside.

It is a dual-pane explorer, two folders are displayed at the same time, and common operations such as copying files are performed from one pane to another.
And X-plore displays the folder hierarchy in a tree structure for clear orientation and quick switching to another location.

You can explore the internals of the device, and if you are a power user and your device is rooted, you can make changes to system data – back up files, remove unwanted apps, etc.

If you are a standard user, you can choose to hide the internal memory and make sure you don’t disturb the system.
You can comfortably see the contents of the mass memories on your device, or possibly on a connected USB key.

Simple app manager allows to view, run, copy, share, uninstall and further explore installed apps.

Wi-Fi File Sharing
Access files on your Android device from other Android devices over WiFi.

Access from a PC web browser
Manage files on your Android device from your PC.

Access to FTP and FTPS (secure FTP) servers is supported.
Multiple servers can be configured.

X-plore can display folders shared on other computers in LAN (local area network).
The system allows access to shared folders on computers connected to the local network, or even to the remote server if it supports the SMB protocol.

X-plore can access various web storage “Cloud” servers and access their files.
You must have an account on the supported web service, then you can access your files stored online through X-plore.

SSH file transfer (SFTP) and terminal shell emulator are also supported.

The main operations are related to managing files and folders – viewing, copying, moving, deleting, zipping, extracting, renaming, sharing, etc.

Picasa Albums
X-plore can list images in Picasa albums, upload them, create albums, upload and delete photos, edit captions.

SQLite database viewer
X-plore can display SQLite database files (those with the .db extension) as an expandable list of tables, each table containing a list of rows and columns with database entries.

The main interaction is via touch screen, clicking on folders or files to open files, or long clicking to open the context menu which contains options that can be performed on a particular clicked item or multiple selected items.
Multi-selection allows you to perform operations on several files at the same time. Files can be selected by clicking the checkbox. It is also possible to select all the files in a folder or to clear the selection by checking the box of the parent folder.

Opening a file may mean using one of the built-in viewers for the most common file types: images, audio, video, and text.
Or you can configure X-plore to use the system application to open files, in which case a system predefined application that can open a particular file is launched.

Archives (currently supported are Zip, Rar and 7zip) are displayed like other folders.

Further interaction is possible through the button bar, which sits between two panes and is fully configurable.
